It all started with a look into my aunt's closet and her subtle comment, "I never wear the same thing twice in a month!!" From there I joined millions of girls who just had to have every fashionable item! Who hit the mall and swiped away for the newest hottest trend that was out and gone with the wind the next week. However, over the years, I've become so confused about what fits my body and what looks good on ME! As I've gotten older, I've realized that I don't wear the "trendy" items I purchased more than 2 or 3 times. Instead, they adorn the hangers, take up space, and weigh down my luggage when its time to move.
So, I'm looking to challenge myself. I've gone through my closet and pulled out all the shirts, skirts, pants and third-pieces that I could live without and held on to a 50-piece wardrobe. To be exact, that's 15 shirts, 10 skirts, 10 pants, 6 dresses and 9 sweaters/blazers. Oh, the challenge that lies before me. This blog is not about fashion trends, nor am I trying to be the next fashion blogger. I simply want to share my journey of figuring out my style with the loads of women who can relate to my situation.
In my efforts to stay true to my 50 piece wardrobe, I'm looking to sell the rest of my polished pearls for loads cheeper than what they are worth. I hate to say good-bye to my barely worn items, but that's the problem - I barely wore them!
Please comment and come back often!!
